Best Physiotherapy – Pricing List
This guide outlines time-based pricing for our services. (Implementation as of 15/01/2026)
Services are at $180.00 per hour.
- 1.5 hour session.
- Detailed clinical assessment.
- Creation of a compliant treatment plan.
- Correspondence to family and communications required to coordinate the construction of an initial management plan.
- Initial report sent through with a summary of participant details and recommendations in the body of email.
- 1 hour session.
- Face-to-face continued management including assessment or reassessment, treatment & progression of the management plans.
- 1.5 hour session.
- Includes re-assessment and attached report of participant progress, outcome measures and goals.
- Recommendations following the final session.
- May require verbal or email correspondence with family/next of kin.
- Available on request for clients with complex needs or when senior therapist input is needed.
- Session duration as per your request.
- 1 hour session.
- Entry to pool included (unless specific other arrangements have been organised).
- For more complex cases extended appointment time may be required.
- Variable session duration.
- Indirect time covers reasonable clinical tasks that are not conducted face-to-face as part of the participant
management plan. - These are not included in the appointment fees and are billed separately at $180.00 per hour.
Tasks that may be billed as indirect time include:
- Additional documentation and case notes
- Report writing (Client Progress & Review Reports, Equipment and Functional Justifications, Multidisciplinary Communication, Clinical Documentation Supporting Safe Care)
- Additional correspondence with clients, families, or other providers
- Sourcing and researching suitable equipment options
- Obtaining formal quotations and arranging trials**
- Monthly progress reports. In line with SAH guidelines regular update reporting has been recommended (est 5 mins p/client).
- Exercise Program prescription and documentation (0.5 hours).
- End of quarter care plan review (0.5 hours).

Key Notes For Price Guide
- Billable time: Includes all face-to-face and non-contact activities related to the service, including assessment, summary, recommendations and travel.
- Extended Follow-Up: Higher cost session rates may apply for any additional reporting or planning required, subject to quotation on a case-by-case basis.
- Indirect services: may be charged for sending out monthly updates, emails, correspondence, report writing, phone calls etc.
- Prices are subject to change. Variability in price may occur due to factors include: Appointments delivered in different locations (for example, areas within the same city) to account for variations in travel time. A quote will be provided prior to the appointment, and we will proceed only with approval.
As a clinician-led, participant-first organisation, we will go to every effort to ensure optimal outcomes, spending as much time as needed with clients while staying compliant with government guidelines and approvals. We will not always use the funding allocated to us if it is not required for time and throughout all services our service expectation is clear communication and goal setting.

No Referrals Needed
You can book in your first appointment directly with us with no GP referral required. However, if you already have a referral or care plan provided by your doctor or specialist, we’re more than happy to work with them to ensure continuity of care.
We Work With All Private Health Insurance Providers
If you have Private Health Insurance with extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for our services. Our team can provide itemised invoices and receipts for easy claiming. While mobile visits cannot currently be processed through HICAPS on the spot, you can conveniently submit your claim directly to your insurer.
Other Claims & Cover
DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs): We are proud to support Australia Veterans and War Widow(er)s with in-home allied health care services under the DVA Health Card Program.
TAC (Transport Accident Commission): If you’ve been in a transport or road accident, you may be eligible for allied health services covered by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). Best Physiotherapy works with you, your case manager, and your GP to ensure your treatment aligns with your recovery goals and TAC requirements.
